I am a member in Optical Media Interface lab., supervised by Prof. Yasuhiro Mukaigawa. My research interests are in Computational Photography, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, and Digital Fabrication. Recently I have worked on hyperspectral imaging to obtain spectral information such as spectral reflectance, scattering and absorption coefficients. The goal of my Ph.D. study is to physically replicate an arbitrary material by digital fabrication techniques, like 3D printing. The properties of the material, such as reflectance, scattering, absorption, and transmittance, are obtained by computational photography techniques.
